Who we are

A Spirit-filled, Bible-believing church family in Greenhills, Dublin 12, made up of people from many nations and every stage of life.

01 Our story

A family gathered from many nations

Christ’s Kingdom Church meets in Greenhills Community Centre, a short walk from homes across Dublin 12 and an easy journey from the rest of the city. On any given Sunday you will hear several accents in one room, and that is exactly how we like it.

We are unashamedly Spirit-filled in conviction and warmly practical in outlook. We believe God still speaks, still heals and still changes lives, and we also believe church should be a place where you can bring an ordinary week, an unfinished question or a hard month and be met with kindness.

Our aim is not a bigger crowd. It is a healthier family: people growing in the Word, serving one another, praying for this city and taking the good news of Jesus into the streets where they live and work.

“My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.”
Mark 11:17

02 Leadership

Meet the people who lead us

Christ’s Kingdom Church is led by Prophet Adilson Kalunga, together with his wife, Barbara Kalunga. Between them they carry the teaching, the prayer and the pastoral care of this church family.

If you are visiting for the first time and would like to meet them, tell us when you arrive on a Sunday and we will introduce you.

03 What we believe

The ground we stand on

Historic Christian faith, held with conviction and taught without complication.

01

The Bible

The Scriptures are the inspired Word of God, fully trustworthy, and our final authority for faith and for life.

02

One God

We believe in one God, eternally existing as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

03

Jesus Christ

Jesus is the Son of God, born of a virgin, crucified in our place, risen bodily from the dead and coming again.

04

Salvation

Salvation is the gift of God, received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, and never earned by our own effort.

05

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit indwells and empowers every believer, giving gifts for the building up of the church today.

06

The Church

The church is the family of God, called to worship, to grow in the Word, to serve one another and to make disciples of all nations.

04 Our values

How we do things

Four commitments that shape every gathering, from Sunday morning to Friday night.

Spirit-led

We make room for the Holy Spirit to lead our gatherings, and we expect God to move among us.

Word-centred

Every message is rooted in Scripture, taught plainly enough to live on through the week.

Family first

Nobody should worship alone. We know each other by name and carry each other’s burdens.

Prayerful

Prayer is not the warm-up. It is the work, and we give real time to it every week.
